The Provincetown LGBTQ Welcome & Resource Center, which opened on June 2, 2018, is committing to a new home for 2019 right on Commercial Street and requires your help to make it happen! Raised funds will go towards The Center’s new location as well as cover our first-year start-up costs and exciting programming line-up for 2019.

The Center was established last spring by the Provincetown Business Guild (a 40-year organization that promotes and celebrates LGBTQ tourism and culture in Provincetown). The Center's mission is to serve those visiting or living in Provincetown who are LGBTQ, LGBTQ -friendly or interested in LGBTQ culture, events, history, trends and issues impacting us all. Through programs, events and virtual exhibitions, the Welcome & Resource Center will preserve Provincetown’s LGBTQ identity, share the town’s LGBTQ contribution to local and American history and build community as an education, information and resource center for issues we face as a community today and in the future.

Given the current political turmoil impacting the LGBTQ community in America, our mission has never been more vital to be a leading voice and the Center is that voice. The Center is a 501c3 and your donation is 100% tax deductible.
