At Rogerson, Old is Gold

MEET HENRY: At 72 years old Henry arrived at Rogerson Communities' adult day health program in a wheelchair paralyzed on his left side from a stroke. He began exercising in Fitness First and today Henry walks with only a cane.

MEET MURIEL: Injured in a fall a few years ago, it takes 95-year-old Muriel 30 minutes to climb or descend her stairs. With the help of Rogerson Communities Fitness First, Muriel is getting stronger than she's been in years and is working to cut her time on the stairs in half.

MEET JERRY: Three years ago Jerry underwent life-saving heart surgery. Today, at 90 years old, Jerry and his wife regularly attend Rogerson Communities exercise classes and both report better health and a joyful connection to others.

We need your help to reach our annual fund goal for 2012. By making a gift today, YOU CAN help Rogerson support Henry, Muriel, Jerry and over 1,500 elders with quality housing and vital services in our adult day health and fitness programs that make every day better.

YOU CAN also personally honor the elders you care about by creating your own fundraiser page. It’s easy to do, click “JOIN” button on the right and set up YOUR OWN page. Then send it out and invite friends and family to join you in helping this fragile population live with dignity, longevity and vitality.
