Mission Statement

Our Mission: We serve as a global leader and partner to eliminate cornea blindness. Our Vision: To restore sight and hope to all in need through eye donation and cornea transplantation. Our Values: - Quality: We continuously pursue the highest standards in our programs, people, and service. - Integrity: We continuously pursue the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and honesty. - Passion: We are driven by a genuine commitment to our mission and those we serve. - Innovation: We embrace and encourage creative and entrepreneurial solutions to sight challenges - Responsibility: We strive to provide a social and humanitarian benefit to donors, donor families, recipients, each other and those who partner with us.

SightLife and its global partners unlock life's possibilities by restoring sight to an average of 30 men, women, and children each day through recovery and placement of eye tissue used in cornea transplants. Now in our fifth decade of operation, SightLife has helped more than 44,000 men, women, and children in 58 different countries see the world through new eyes. This is a drop in the bucket compared to what is possible. In a teach-the-hungry-to-fish approach, we are working now to establish eye banks in developing countries, where 98% of the world's 10 million corneal blind people live. Projects are underway in India, Paraguay, and Ethiopia, where newly-built eye banks are working their way to sustainability. Cornea blindness is curable! Transplants are among the least expensive and most successful of all health interventions. Join us in ending this preventable personal disaster that brings misery to millions.
