Unsightly, worn out, and out-of-code, our visitor entrance porch and ramp to the Chamberlain Museum desperately needs an upgrade.
Thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust and several lead individual gifts, PHS is well on its way to raising the funds to rebuild the porch before the 2018 season, which begins in late May.
The new porch and ramp will be more in keeping with the style of the house, echoing the home’s roofline, railing, and balusters, and fully up to code to easily welcome all our visitors.
Won’t you help us raise the final $6,000 we need to cover the $22,250 estimate? All donors will be listed on signage at the Museum thanking the “Welcome Committee.” THANK YOU!
